Our small and quiet site is ideally situated for those visiting Suffolk; whether you are exploring the area, visiting friends or going to one of the many attractions or events held locally.
There is something for everyone in the friendliest atmosphere you’ll wish to find on the Suffolk Heritage Coast; a wonderful mix of family fun, music and drama, fine eating and drinking, sailing and shopping –
Tomcat Farm is in the heart of Constable Country, Flatford Mill, Dedham and Stratford St Mary are very close and easily accessible. Beautiful Constable Country is located on the Suffolk and Essex border. This enchanting part of England was the birthplace of renowned artist John Constable and has become very popular with visitors. There are many things to see and do in Constable Country, whether visiting for the day or staying a little longer.
The site is now Open.
The site will be shut from Monday 29th June until Thursday 9th July 2026
The site will close on Monday 30th November 2026.
It will reopen on Monday 1st March 2027.

Tomcat Farm is also the closest campsite to Jimmy’s Farm. Jimmy’s Farm has many things to do for a great day out for all the family.
One of Suffolk’s newest attractions is the ‘Ed Sheeran Trail’ with numerous places to visit including Framlingham Castle which is featured in his video The Castle on the Hill, along with other Suffolk scenes including Boyton Marshes, Felixstowe and Mildenhall Stadium.
The site has excellent facilities. There is a toilet block with separate, purpose-built disabled facilities, showers and shaver points. Soap, paper towels and toilet rolls are provided.
- There will be no campfires or fire pits allowed. Off ground BBQ’s are permitted.
